The Cinta Senese is a typical pig breed present in Tuscany. It is an ancient breed, probably already present in Roman times. The specimens are rustic, strong and of medium size.
The Cinta Senese with the DOP mark ensures that the birth, breeding and slaughter of pigs take place in Tuscany.
The pigs, free to graze in the open air, allow the obtaining of top quality meats.
